Biofuels

Biofuels offer the potential for low-carbon, low-cost alternatives to petroleum-based fuels, particularly in the heavy transport sector. We investigate opportunities and barriers to the development of economically competitive biofuels, while interrogating biofuels' compatibility with sustainable rural development and global conservation efforts.
