Move37

Exploring the responsible application of frontier technology to negotiations, diplomacy, and conflict management

Move37 is a Belfer Center initiative exploring how advanced artificial intelligence can augment human capabilities in negotiation, diplomacy, and conflict management. Recognizing the complexity and deeply human characteristics of these fields, Move37 is developing cutting-edge conceptual frameworks, technical tools, institutional guidelines, and process recommendations to effectively integrate intelligent non-human agents into high stakes decision-making processes.

Situated within the Belfer Center’s Program on Emerging Technology, Scientific Advancement, Move37 combines practical expertise, academic theory, and frontier technology. Collaborating closely with leading diplomats, scholars, and technical experts, the project aims to establish a robust foundation for the integrated deployment of linguistic systems (large language and reasoning models) and non-linguistic systems (numerical simulators and agent-based tools) across diplomatic, negotiation, and conflict-management scenarios. Move37 seeks to advance technological innovation responsibly and transform how complex international interactions are understood and executed.
