Public Perception of Carbon Capture and Storage Technology Workshop

| October 2008

ETIP held a workshop on "Public Perception of Carbon Capture and Storage Technology" on June 2-3, 2008 at Harvard Kennedy School. The goal of the workshop was to integrate and assimilate recent developments in understanding public perception of CCS technology related to demonstration and deployment for climate change mitigation. By providing a forum to discuss and critique public perception and communication strategies in several specific projects involving CCS technology, the workshop enabled participants to engage in discussion and analysis of public perception and communication issues and to synthesize commonalities and differences among current/recent experiences and research.
